Should I be concerned about colour build up?

Colour build up is any artificial dye on your hair. While the colour and vibrancy may fade over time with washing, the pigment remains. If you keep applying colour, the hair shaft will get fuller. Eventually, the colour build up will stop the colour process from working, while also making your hair look unhealthy and brittle.

Starting from scratch if you have previously coloured hair means either growing out your colour or having the colour stripped out. We offer colour correction to clean away the old colour, restoring your hair to its natural condition so that when we add new colour, it looks the way you want it to.

At your first colour correction appointment, we’ll be able to give you a rough timeline for achieving your desired colour.
